Who am I? I WRITE books. I EDIT other people’s stories. I TEACH students how to write their own novels. And I am the original creator of DimeStories, The 3-minute stories reading series that was the inspiration for NPR’s Three-Minute Fictions.
WRITE. My first novel, MoonPies & Movie Stars was a Los Angeles Times Bestseller. “Bestseller” means for one nanosecond I was #10 at selling the most books at the bookstores that the LA Times monitors. You may be surprised, but no checks arrive, no television crews pull up into your driveway, BUT you get to put bestseller in your bio.
